The Customer Service Skills Center uses curriculum and training based on National Customer Service & Sales and Pilot Retail Skill Standards. Skill standards are tools that outline the skills, knowledge, and abilities needed by professional retail and service employees to perform their work successfully. Standards provide the framework for training program courses that addresses the key elements of retailing and other sales and service related industries.
The Skill Standards address both the work itself (work-oriented components), as well as the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform the work (worker-oriented components).
The training program that the Customer Service Skills Center provides is unmatched by any other training program. The Center can help you realize your career success in the fast paced high growth sales, service and retail industries. After six weeks of free training, you will be prepared to take the certification exam based on Sales & Service Skill Standards developed by the National Retail Federation that will give you the competitive edge when applying for jobs.
We offer:
- Free 6 week training program in customer services and sales from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m
taught by a Hudson County Community College instructor.
- Certification as a Sales professional by the National Retails Federation.
