- August 2009- JCECDC receives a $10,000 grant from Capitol One to help support the operations of the Real Estate Division

- August 2009- The Corporation for Supportive Housing and the Jersey City Division of Community Development nominate the All Saints Project for the Governor’s Excellence Award for Supportive Housing.

- July 2009- JCECDC receives a $20,000 grant from Bank of America to support the operations of the Real Estate Division.

- July 2009-JCECDC Project Manager secures National certification as a Rehab Specialist. Ricardo Rosario now has formal training in using high efficiency, automated software systems to analize rehab feasibility, write rehab specs and create rehab contracts.

- July 2009-JCECDC and partners apply for over $20M to developer 200+ units under Neighborhood Stabilization Program 2 funds. This collaboration includes the Jersey City Redevelopment Agency, CitiWorks, Landmark Development and the Urban League of Hudson County. JCECDC’s goal under this program is to acquire and rehab 15 two family homes for rentals to low, moderate and middle income populations in the Greenville area.

- June 2009- JCECDC secures $922,000 from the City’s Neighborhood Stabilization Program to acquire 10-15 foreclosed two family homes for rehab and resale to moderate and middle income households. For more information about this project, click here.
