Carol Mori, Executive Director, has over 20 years in the non-profit sector and possesses in-depth knowledge and experience in contract compliance and management for Federal, State, County, and City grants in the State of New Jersey. Prior to JCECDC, she was Director of Finance at NJCRI, who is the largest provider of services in New Jersey for people living with HIV. She now serves on the Board of Trustees and is the Chair of the Finance Committee. She was Assistant to the Director Finance at Aids Resource Foundation for Children, that provides housing, education, and case management to families affect/infected with the HIV virus, where she was responsible for managing a 4.5 million dollar annual operating budget. She was Director of Budgeting & Regulatory Reporting & Compliance with Youth Consultation Services, the largest agency in the state of NJ that is based across six counties and operates a multitude of residential shelters, special education schools, and several community based programs state wide, where she was responsible for managing an operating budget that grew from 8 million to 40 million + during her tenure. Her accomplishments include implementation of automated financial data and reporting in all areas of finance, and establishing fiscal and administrative policies and procedures to ensure proper internal controls over financial reporting and day to day operations.

Susan Milan, Director of Supportive Housing holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  Ms. Milan has over ten years of experience providing clinical and administrative social work services to the Hudson County community.  Before joining Jersey City Episcopal CDC, Ms. Milan was the Coordinator of Case Management Services at Jersey City Medical Center, and has worked part-time at Christ Hospital since 1998, providing in-home counseling to HIV infected children and adults.

John Restrepo was hired as the Director of Real Estate in October of 2003, with the aim of increasing volume production and fast tracking projects for Jersey City Episcopal Community Development Corporation.  As a Project Manager, John was previously involved with the development of affordable housing and the revitalization of neighborhoods in Jersey City and Newark for over 7 years working with various housing organizations including St. James Community Development Corporation in Newark’s North Ward.  In 7 years, John has been involved with the development of over 100 units of affordable housing in various stages of development and has been instrumental with securing over $30 million in financing for housing and economic development projects.  Development experience ranges from affordable for sale and rental housing development to commercial development.  John’s educational background includes a degree in Urban Planning from Rutgers University and the successful completion of the Housing and Community Development Network of New Jersey’s well-renowned Housing Development Training Program in 1999, the Advanced Housing Development Training Program in 2003 and the Asset Management Training Program in 2005.  John was also a 1999 Wachovia/New Jersey Department of Community Affairs Housing Scholar and 2000 Kauffman Entrepreneur.   In 3 years, John has spearheaded a dramatic increase in real estate activity and support for Jersey City Episcopal Community Development Corporation. More recently, John was appointed as the Policy Chair for the Jersey City Affordable Housing Coalition.
